PTSE (Proflujo Talent Search Exam) is an aptitude-based assessment designed to evaluate a student’s understanding, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills. It focuses more on concepts than rote memorisation.

PTSE is conducted by Proflujo, an educational initiative focused on skill-based assessment and student development.

The objective of PTSE is to: • Identify academic strengths and improvement areas • Encourage conceptual learning • Provide meaningful feedback to students and parents

PTSE is neither a school exam nor a traditional competitive exam. It is an independent assessment meant for self-evaluation and guidance.

PTSE differs from school exams in the following ways: • Focuses on understanding, not memorisation • Uses application-oriented questions • Provides analytical reports, not just marks

Eligibility & Registration

Students studying in Classes 8 to 12 are eligible to appear for PTSE.

Yes. Students from CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, and other recognised boards can apply.

PTSE is conducted separately for: • Middle school (Class 8–9) • Secondary (Class 10) • Senior secondary (Class 11–12)

Students can register online through the official PTSE registration portal by filling in basic details and completing payment.

Offline registration may be available for schools or institutions. Individual students are encouraged to use online registration.

Typically required: • Student name • Class and board • Parent contact details • Email ID

Minor corrections may be allowed before the exam date. Students should contact support through the helpdesk.

Depending on the class level, PTSE may include: • Mathematics • Science • Logical reasoning The exact subject combination is communicated before the exam.

The syllabus is broadly aligned with the student’s current academic level. It focuses on fundamental concepts rather than detailed textbook coverage.

The syllabus broadly follows NCERT-level concepts, making it suitable for students across boards.

No. There is no negative marking in PTSE.

The exam duration is typically 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the class and level.

PTSE is primarily conducted online. Offline mode may be arranged for select institutions.

Students can take the exam using: • Desktop or laptop computer • Tablet A keyboard and mouse are recommended.

While mobile access may work, desktop or laptop is strongly recommended for a better exam experience.

A stable internet connection with basic broadband or mobile data speed is sufficient.

If a temporary disconnection occurs, students may be able to resume the exam. Repeated or prolonged disconnections should be reported to support.

Once started, the exam generally cannot be paused. Students are advised to take the exam in a disturbance-free environment.
